bookworms

I found an interesting article about reading levels and kids.  It talks about how just because they may be able to read books grades ahead of their age doesn't mean they are emotionally ready to read older books.  They recommended this site, Common Sense Media, that gives you a suggested age for different books, taking into account the maturity necessary to understand the content.  I plan to check it out.  It is perfect timing because I was just thinking of getting some summer reading together for Henry.  Patrick is currently reading them Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but I would like to find something Henry can attempt to read on his own.  Other than Dr. Suess.  We seem to have that covered...
