Malcolm: Does goldfish swim?
Me: Yes.
Malcolm: Does talking goldfish swim?
Me: Mmm. Yes.
Malcolm: Does eating goldfish swim?
Me: ?? Yes?
Malcolm: Eating goldfish does not swim.
Me: Like, the kind you eat? No, you're right, they don't.  They're crackers.
Malcolm: But talking goldfish swim?
Me: Yes. Like the goldfish at Henry and Ceci's school.  They swim.
Malcolm: But goldfish don't talk.
Me:  No, they don't.
