walk the line

Our family is participating in a Gainesville Young Life Walk-A-Thon on March 21.  It is to raise money to send kids to Young Life camp this summer.  If you are local and want to come on out, registration begins at 8:30 at Westminster Pres. across from Westwood Middle. It is going to be a lot of fun.  We just walk that block down 34th to 8th, then east to that street behind the park, back up to WMS.  It is a mile.   If you would like to sponsor our family, feel free to drop me an email!  (alysonkee@gmail.com)

In case you barely know us, I am a Young Life kid.  I committed my life to Christ at a Young Life camp my senior year of high school.  I was a leader in college.  I briefly met Patrick at that same camp in 1997, and we were on staff there together in 1998 when we began dating.  I'm not saying Young Life is responsible for who I am today because only the Lord can take credit for that.  I am saying going to that camp as a high schooler in 1994 had a profound effect on my life, my family, and who I am.
